Petros Group in cooperation with its partner-companies render world-class prospecting and exploration services for oil, gas and other natural resources, including underground water reserves. We use both classical seismic methods, and innovative express technologies of natural resources prospecting.

The classical 2D and 3D-seismic surveys correspond to the modern world standards and include the following services:	analysis of the regional resources;
	prospecting and exploration projecting;
	prospecting and exploration jobs;
	seismic land/marine data processing;
	geological modeling;
	estimation of oil and gas reserves;
	hydrodynamic reservoir simulation;
	monitoring of oil/gas field development.

For the above tasks we use licensed software including Russian DV-1 Discovery, DV-SeisGeo, DV-Geo and IMPRESS.

Petros possesses the exclusive rights for an innovative technology of express-prospecting natural resources. The technology is based on detecting low-energy information fields with further data interpretation using special mathematical models. The theoretical basis of the method was created by world-wide known Russian academicians K.Cialkovskiy, V.Vernadskiy and A.Chijevskiy.

This method of initial express-prospecting was successfully used for prospecting oil, gas, water, gold and precious stones in Russia, Israel, Tadjikistan and some other countries. It has proved to be low cost, time saving and highly effective.

In 2008 evaluation surveys were carried out in some South-East Asia countries (Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, Papua New Guinea). Both land and offshore areas were studied to prospect for possible oil deposits. The information received from the survey discovered at least 30 new oil deposits with preliminary estimated oil reserves of 17 billion barrels. At the same time new additional information on the previously discovered and developed oil reserves was also obtained.
